Laura Gavin

Hello all! I am Ms. Laura Gavin, and I teach Kindergarten

here at CLA. I am from Brownsville, TN. I moved to

Murfreesboro in 2012 where I attended MTSU. After

graduating in 2016, I decided to make Murfreesboro

my home. I enjoy teaching, playing the piano, cooking,

shopping, and helping anyone in need. My classroom

philosophy is Firm, Fair, Fun!

It is my mission to build on your child's strengths while

instilling a love for learning. My classroom is a nurturing

environment in which your child will feel successful and

proud. It is going to be a great year full of new friends,

adventures, and discoveries.  Let’s work together to make

this an amazing year for both you and your child. If you

have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at

any time. I am very big on communicating!
I prefer being

contacted through classdojo. I look forward to hearing

from you soon.

"There's no word in the language I revere more than 'teacher.' My heart sings when a kid refers to me as their teacher, and it always will!"
