Welcome to Cason Lane Academy.  Cason Lane is apart of the Murfreesboro City School system.  I grew up and attended a school within our system and am apart of a family of educators.  Education is a part of who I am, and I am honored to teach in Murfreesboro City Schools!

My name is Diana McKnight Hadley.  I graduated from MTSU in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Child Development. In 2003, I received the Outstanding Young Educator Award from the Tennessee Jaycees.  In 2012, I was named the building Primary Teacher of the Year at Bradley Academy and earned a teaching endorsement to teach English language learners.  I graduated from Lipscomb University in 2015 with a master's degree in Educational Leadership.  In 2015, I received the MEA building level Distinguished Educator of the Year Award for the lower grades at Bradley Academy.  I have taught private and public preschool for four years, kindergarten for nine years, second grade for two years, and this is my first year teaching ESL.  I am looking forward to teaching the students here at Cason Lane Academy!

I am married,Steve, and have two wonderful children.  Kelley graduated from Georgia Career Institute with a cosmetology degree and works full time as a hair dresser, and Ean is in the 11th grade at Siegel High School.  We also have a grandson ,Abel, that brings a lot of happiness into our home!
