Taba Karna, Interventionist

Hello My Name Is...

Taba Karna

Taba profile

I am originally from Bruceton, a small town in west Tennessee, where I graduated with 43 people. (Did I mention it was a small town?) I received my B.S. degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2002. Since then, I have also received a Master's degree from Walden University and an Ed.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University. I began my teaching career here at Cason Lane Academy in 2003, so this school has been like a home to me. My goal is to create a positive environment that is conducive for student learning. My focus is, first and foremost, on students and their needs. I feel that all students can learn when given the right tools and amount of time. I also feel that having a partnership with parents and other teachers is extremely beneficial for students and their learning. I love the faculty, staff, and students I get to work with every day!
